Biography

 Faye Rogers is the owner and operator of THE GARDEN ROOM. She was born and raised in Apopka, Florida, "Foliage Capital of the World". Faye's roots were planted as a horticulturist.
After having earned a B.S. Degree in Horticulture in 1979 at Florida Southern College, Faye's career began as a manufacturer's representative for International Minerals and Chemical Corporation. Working with that company for 20 years, Faye became proficient in agricultural crop nutrient management through soil and plant tissue analysis. She became a Certified Crop Advisor in 1994 with the American Society of Agromony.
Faye wanted to expand her horizons and return to her ornamental horticulture roots by starting her own company. She first returned to school to earn an A.S. Degree in Interior Design Technology in 1996 from Indian River Community College. With her horticulture background and interior design training, Faye opened THE GARDEN ROOM in 1999, as an interiorscape company, a full service provider that designs, installs and maintains plants.
Faye continues to support the agriculture industry outside her business by serving on the Indian River County Farm Bureau board.
